A little about me

Hi, I am Kate 😊

I'm excited you're here and curious about life.

Over the years I have tried on many different titles… nurse, outreach worker, participant navigator, facilitator, yoga teacher, program coordinator, caregiver, swim coach, fundraising coordinator, lifeguard… SO MANY!

What I’ve learned is that I am myself and no title or professional “hat” I wear, or letters behind my name, define me.

Today, I identify with the things that light up my heart.

I am a nature lover, a collaborator with the earth, working to live in reciprocity with the lands I am privileged to walk upon.

I am a mother to two beautiful beings who are teaching me about my neurodiversity and how to be fierce.

I am a daughter to loving parents, a sister to one of the bravest women I know, and a wife to an incredibly supportive and patient husband.

I am a steward of stories, a soulrocker, an artist, an empath, an encourager of movement and play, a guide and space holder, a curator of ceremony, an advocate for equity, a settler of European decent who is getting to know my ancestral lineage and taking steps to decolonize the way I move in the world, one awkward (and 💯worthwhile) step at a time.

A few years ago, I would’ve been grasping for a title to define myself as “worthy” of doing the work I want to do in the world.

Now, I am at peace with my active mind that guides me to my interests, one of which is working with people to see them cultivate connections in their lives.

Connection to self comes first, the rest will follow.

Whether we are doing personal or professional work,  I am here to support you on your journey to connect, cultivate and thrive in your life.  Join me as we create space for you to be vulnerable, explore tools to find ease in your life and be nourished through connection.
